Mid-Del Schools welcomed two new school administrators this week.

Micah Mattingly was hired as an assistant principal at Del Crest Middle School and Jocelyn Frederickson will join Jarman Middle School as an assistant principal.
Mattingly will replace Phillip Crawford who took an assistant principal position at Del City High School. Frederickson will replace John Hancock, who moved from Jarman Middle School to Midwest City High School.

The new assistant principals were officially hired and introduced Monday night during the monthly school board meeting.

The district shuffled a few administrators for the upcoming school year.

Brittany Manley will be the new principal at Monroney Middle School after moving from Midwest City High School. Manley replaces former principal Mark Flies who retired this year.

Mid-Del has also eliminated two administrative positions through attrition. Silvya Kirk, regional director of teaching and learning, retired and Mike Clark, district athletic director, left for a position in Yukon. Neither positions will be filled, according to district officials.
