Tuttle Rodeo Aug. 5 and 6

In its thirty-fourth installment, the Annual Tuttle Rodeo will take place Friday and Saturday, Aug. 5 and 6 at Schrock Park. Action will begin each evening at 8 p.m. Racers, ropers and riders will compete for cash prizes, buckles and bragging rights.
Cost of admission will be $10 at the gate for adults, $5 for seniors, $5 for children between the ages six and twelve, and children five and under will be permitted free of charge. A saddle will be raffled off. Raffle tickets are $1. The saddle is displayed at Tuttle Grain and Supply where raffle tickets can be purchased. The winner will not need to be present to win.
Mutton Busting events will cost just $5 for children under 50 pounds.
The events include Ranch Bronc, Team Roping, Bull Riding, Calf Roping, Ribbon Roping, Double Mugging, Breakaway Roping and Barrel Racing. Books open Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m.
The Canadian Valley Rangerettes’ equestrian drill team will perform both evenings.
