Jeffus, Stober crowned Miss EOC Royalty 2017

The 37th annual Miss Eastern Oklahoma County Pageant was hosted Saturday in the Performing Arts Center of Choctaw High School.

There was plenty of beauty, talent and intelligence on display with 30 contestants, but by the end of the night it was Jancy Jeffus and Malayna Stober who had what the judges were looking for.

During the August 27 event Miss Eastern Oklahoma County 2016 Allie Renner passed the crown on to Jeffus and Miss EOC Outstanding Teen 2016 Olivia Kuester passed the title to Stober.
Other Miss EOC contestants included Carli Manwell, Chelsea Smith, Elizabeth Shelton, Hailey Raetz, Katlyn Skaggs, Katy McGarth, Lexie Herron, Melanie Mikles, Melissa Valencia, Micah Ripley, Rebekah Routh, Samantha Martin and Sweta Patel.
Other Miss EOC Outstanding Teen contestants included Alyssa Payne, Arriah Herrin, Chalyn Head, Jessica Russell, Jody Webb, Kaelin Clay, Makenna Marchbanks, Morgan Money, Mya Cobb, Natalie Yadon, Summer Tate, Taylor Bishop, Taylor Brown and Tori Kostas.
The contestants were featured in talent, fitness, on-stage question and evening wear competitions. They also completed individual in-depth interviews with a panel of qualified judges who evaluate their contributions in public service platforms and issues.
Miss EOC is a Miss Oklahoma and Miss America preliminary competition and the “Miss” and “Teen” winners will go on to compete for the state titles next June in Tulsa.
This year’s Little Stars were Amber Jones, Annamarie Brown, Ariana Fray, Imaryan Hastings, Jessica Jones, Katie Blasingame, Kenleigh Traigle, London Tobias, Madelyn Spradley, Miley Hicklin, Milyalyn Brown, Ryleigh Jensen and Tamsley Brown.
The 2017 Miss EOC Pageant premium sponsors were BancFirst, Nicoma Park Kiwanis and the Choctaw Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Scholarship Pageant Board consists of Pam McDuffee, Alma Holland, Sheila Douglas, Anita Johnson Barbara Shaw, Theda Adkinson, Dona Bourlon, Jennifer Blasingame and Megan Johnson.
2017 Judges included Amanda Sikich, Brian Winslow, Emory Lasenby, Peter Evans and Christy Favors. The field director was Winston Banta, and the auditors wereeoc 2017 mugs Diane Emmons and Gary Plunkett.
