Reward offered in recent homicide
The Midwest City Police Department announced that a reward is being offered for information about a recent homicide.
Antonio Marshall, 27, was killed in the parking lot of Vista Green Apartments, 7010 E. Reno Avenue, on Oct. 22.
About 11:30 p.m., officers responded to shots fired at the apartment complex. They found four gunshot victims, Demery Hall, 21; Nicole Johnson, 22; Sam Ellison; and Marshall. All four were transported to local hospitals.
Marshall later died from his injuries. The others were released from the hospital and are recovering, according to police.
The Midwest City Police Department and two local financial institutions have teamed up to offer a money reward for information concerning a recent homicide.
Authorities said the reward is “several thousands of dollars” and is available to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of individuals involved in the death of Marshall.
“At this time, we are hoping the promise of reward money will develop viable suspects in this murder,” Chief Brandon Clabes said.
Police are searching for a possible witness that was driving a silver van at Crest Foods on E. Reno Ave. The van was in the parking lot of the grocery store during the same time frame the homicide was committed.
Marshall was remembered as a local disc jockey, entrepreneur, father and friend to many.
He graduated from Carl Albert High School, where he played football, basketball and ran track. He went on to attend Southwestern Christian University where he played basketball, before beginning his career in entertainment.
