The Black Raven is a traditional Irish pub that recently setup shop on Church Avenue.
Previously located in Choctaw Plaza, for the last five years, the Black Raven recently opened to serve Harrah.
The pub has become well known for traditional Irish food, drink and music entertaining locals and attracting visitors to eastern Oklahoma County. With a causal atmosphere the pub is setup to be enjoyed by guests of all ages.
The Black Raven’s new location is anything but new to locals.
Next door to the police station in downtown Harrah the Black Raven has renovated the historic white building previously known as Maggie’s.
Downtown Harrah now has one more great addition to the plenty of options for residents to shop and eat local and keep their hard-earned dollars working for the community.
In recent years Harrah has already seen a significant increase in sales tax revenue, which is how cities operate in Oklahoma. While residents may be happy to see a wider selection of dining establishments in town, the increased funds generated by sales tax collection should allow the city to make needed improvements and maintenance of roads and other infrastructure and services.
As the Black Raven completes setting up their new location, they invite the public to “Spend your evenings with us enjoying live music, food and a wee drop o’ the cratur.’”
