Midwest City police investigating fatal shooting
Midwest City police are investigating a fatal shooting early this morning near NE 10th Street and Midwest Blvd.
At 2:27 a.m., officers responded to the Fairfax Apartments, 7831 NE 10th St., about a possible shooting. Police learned that Nicosha Nelson, 25, had just returned to her apartment and walked inside when a suspect fired a weapon into her apartment window striking her. The victim was transported to a local hospital but later died.
Police have not release further information at this time. No Suspect information at this time.
