A new bakery is opening July 1 at 336 S Mustang Road. Just Baked is a bakery and deli offering fresh sandwiches, soups, salads and all kinds of baked goods.
Owners Katlyn Swaffer and her mom Debbie Cook have dreamed of owning a bakery forever. Friends and family have always enjoyed their cakes and pies. And now so can the community.
“We decided to jump off and open up a brick and mortar bakery-deli in the Mustang, Yukon area. That’s where I grew up and she’s lived for 20 plus years,” Swaffer said.
Just Baked will be open for lunch and dinner and offer a wide variety of sandwiches.
“Kind of like McAlister’s and Panera combined. Signature sandwiches and then you can build your own sandwich like you could at Subway or Jersey Mike’s. And then will have some salads…just fresh food,” said Swaffer.
The new bakery will offer fresh baked breads by the loaf and a wide variety of pastries.
“We have a bakery case that will have cakes every day. Cakes by the slice, pies by the slice and cheesecake. And then will do different specialty desserts like cake balls, pastries, Kolaches and fresh pretzel rolls. We’re going to be making all of our bread fresh, “said Swaffer.
Just Baked will also offer custom order and birthday cakes. Just call ahead for any special orders. They already have a great following from their cottage style home bakery.
“I ordered a strawberry cheesecake and oh my goodness it tastes like heaven!” said customer Arynn Nicole Hanning.
This summer you can also cool off with some ice cream and Italian cream sodas.
“It’s just a mom and daughter bakery-deli that we wanted to do forever. So we figured the best place to do it was our community,” said Swaffer.
