Sport Clips, Great Clips and Tropical Smoothie Cafe are all coming soon to Mustang. The businesses will be located in the new Mustang Plaza Shopping Center near Sara Rd. and SH 152. It’s under construction now and located right behind the Applebee’s restaurant in Mustang.

“The demographic was good, the location was good and the land became available. Mustang is growing so fast and that shopping center is in the center of all the activities. You’ve got Super

Walmart on the other side and Lowe’s on that side. Just having those two major anchors is really what made us decide to buy the land and build the center there,” said Brady’s Properties Manager Ali Ghaniabadi.

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a health food restaurant that serves flavorful smoothies made with real fruits, veggies and juices. They also offer toasted flatbreads, wraps, sandwiches, quesadillas and bowls. The restaurant is fast-casual and has a tropical atmosphere.

Sport Clips specializes in haircuts for men with guy-smart stylists. They have TVs everywhere playing sports and you never need an appointment.
Great Clips is a hair salon franchise with over 4,100 locations across the United States and Canada. They provide haircuts to men, women and kids. No appointments are necessary.

“We like to lease it to good solid tenants that will be there and contribute to the community and be a good fit for the surrounding. The center has 10 spaces and they are about 1,625 square feet. We like to have some services such as insurance, nail salon and fast food restaurants or dine in restaurants. We have Great Clips and Sport Clips – they’re going to be there. And we also have Tropical Smoothies. They will take the drive thru on the east side,” said Ghaniabadi.

Mustang Plaza had a flood of interest from many other restaurants and businesses until Covid-19 hit.

“We had Jersey Mikes, we had QDOBA, we had Papa John’s Pizza and all of them just basically stopped. We also had a nail spa and day spa. They put it on hold. I think once this pandemic is over-we’re going to see more people start coming in and things are going to get back to normal. I think we’re going to see those tenants back being interested,” said Ghaniabadi.

Brady’s Properties manages and leases retail office and warehouse properties. They have other locations in Shawnee, Chickasha, Oklahoma City, Norman, Enid and Midwest City. For Mustang Plaza leasing information call 732-8899.
