Midwest City police today arrested a man accused of shooting two people inside a 7-Eleven store last Monday night.

The incident happened about 11:11 p.m. on Monday, March 15 at the store at 1821 S. Air Depot Blvd.

When police arrived on scene, they found two people with gunshot wounds. The victims were a 44-year-old woman and 32-year-old man who are dating. Both were rushed to a local hospital and are expected to recover, police said.

Police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Terry Wayne Pursell II.

Assistant Police Chief Sid Porter said Pursell had previously been in a relationship with the woman.

“Apparently he didn’t like that these two were dating now and saw them come in the store and shot them both and walked out,” Porter said. “He then fled on foot.”

Several people witnessed the incident but no one else was injured, Porter said.

Police issued an arrest warrant for Pursell on attempted murder. After several days of searching, police arrested Pursell about 2:28 p.m. today near SE 44th St. and Douglas. Blvd.

Pursell has previously served time for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon in 2006 and drug charges in 2018.

Ok this is where the world gets all the wrong information, The victims were not dating, the ex was just a crazy lunatic and couldn’t handle the fact that she did not want him around anymore because he was physically and mentally abusive. You shouldn’t even be able to publish this Bullshit without getting the facts straight first!!
