Local senior citizens have a new option for primary health care in Midwest City.
ArchWell Health last week celebrated the grand opening of a primary care physician office at 6951 SE 15th St. in Midwest City. The new facility offers holistic primary healthcare services for senior citizens age 65 and over.
Employees with ArchWell Health welcomed the community for a ribbon cutting and grand opening celebration last Thursday. Guests enjoyed tours of the new office and met with doctors and staff. The Midwest City Chamber of Commerce also presented a plaque to Dr. Aneesh Pakala, a primary care physician at ArchWell Health.

The comprehensive primary care service includes transportation to and from the center, access to same-day appointments, specialty and ancillary services, social workers, dietitian, and more.
“We want to provide high quality, holistic primary care for our seniors and we do that in centers just like this,” Pakala said. “These centers are built right within our communities. These aren’t just doctor’s clinics. These are places where seniors can safely gather. Where they can participate in physical activity, games, celebrate their birthdays. We need to rebuild these strong ties that hold our communities together that we have lost through the pandemic.”
Seniors will enjoy more time with their doctors than traditional primary care offices, said Rebecca Weingart, community relations specialist with ArchWell Health.
“You can get a same day appointment and get right in and get treatment the same day,” she said. “That’s very rare in today’s economy. We also have lower patient to doctor panels which means people won’t be rushed in and out. They will have time to sit down and talk and get to know their doctor.”
ArchWell Health also doubles as a community center for senior citizens.
“We host events on nutrition, yoga exercise, arts and crafts and just fun events for the community to engage and collaborate,” said Weingart.
ArchWell Health is located at 6951 SE 15th St. in Midwest City, near the intersection of SE 15th St. and S. Air Depot Blvd. The company spent several months renovating a former CVS Pharmacy for the new medical office. The building includes several exam rooms, lab testing area, offices as well as a large community room for guests to socialize.
“This location has great visibility and it’s easy to get to,” said Oliver Formato with ArchWell Health.
The Midwest City center is one of three opened in the metro. ArchWell Health also has two locations in Oklahoma City at 4629 NW 23rd St. and 7313 S. Western Ave.
The Oklahoma City metro centers are among the first in the United States to be opened by ArchWell Health. The company also has clinics in Alabama, Missouri and North Carolina with plans to expand across the country in the years ahead.
ArchWell Health is open 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information or to schedule a tour, call (405) 251-8885.
