Midwest City wrestlers earn all-state honors

Two Midwest City wrestlers earned all-state honors.

Seniors Jazen Brown and Kaleb Kerr were recently selected to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Wrestling Team. They will represent the Large West squad in the OCA All-State Games on July 27.

Brown placed third at the Class 5A state wrestling championships this year. He is a three-time state qualifier and also played football for the Bombers. Brown went 29-8 as a senior.
Kerr is also a three-time state qualifier and also plays golf for the Bombers. He finished with a 21-12 record this year.

Other wrestlers selected to the Large West team include: Garrett McBride (Edmond North), Jonah Hanscom (Yukon), Shaun Muse (Choctaw), JP Martinez (Duncan), Bam West (Mustang), John Wiley (Mustang), Jaxon Randall (Edmond North), Benjamin Mower (Edmond Memorial), Eli Cordy (Edmond Memorial), Hayden Simpson (Guthrie) and Rylan Hitt (Elgin).
