WEST OKC TODAY: Mustang Creek Crossing is the largest commercial development in OKC

The largest commercial development in Oklahoma City is poised for exponential growth along Mustang Road and the Kilpatrick Tollway.

The 300 acre development is underway now with big plans for restaurants, hotels, entertainment venues, business offices, retail shopping centers, major box stores, apartments, medical facilities and much more.

Mustang Creek Crossing is the largest zoned commercial industrial development in the Oklahoma City area. It’s both eastside and westside of the Kilpatrick Tollway all the way up to I-40.

“I don’t know of any other property that’s as big as this. This one is ripe because of the housing and the school district. The location and outlook is excellent. That area is growing by leaps and bounds. That whole area is being sought after because of the completion of that Kilpatrick Tollway that connects it up to everywhere,” said Hayes Brokerage President Don Hayes.

The market conditions are now back and looking great after COVID-19 slowed down development. Businesses are wanting to grow and people are ready to do things again.

“The market conditions are really robust right now. I’ve never seen a January and February that is this active. It’s the most activity that I’ve seen in my forty-three years of commercial real estate,” said Hayes.

Developers are currently looking for some nice sit down restaurants that serve alcohol. They are looking for medium to upscale eateries.

“We’re looking for restaurants that we can position around our ponds and that will be highly visible from the Kilpatrick Tollway,” said Hayes.

Mustang Creek Crossing is currently home to Wendy’s, OnCue and Okie Express Auto Wash. For information about pre-leasing and sales call 405-417-5263.

As nice as this all sounds, unfortunately the city is about to give permits to build 200 low income duplexes right across the street at SW15th and Sara road, I’m thinking that would never get upscale of anything unfortunately!!!
