Brandon Garrison continues to draw accolades on the basketball court.

The Del City High School senior has been named to the 46th annual McDonald’s All American team.

Garrison recently signed with Oklahoma State. He chose the Cowboys over numerous Division I offers including Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Houston.

As a sophomore, Garrison led the Eagles to a state title in 2021, and state runner-up finish in 2022. Del City is currently ranked No. 4 in Class 5A. Garrison earned all-tournament honors at the Joe Lawson Memorial Invitational in Norman and the Bishop McGuinness Classic.

Garrison also played on the USA Basketball U18 team that took gold last summer.

He is Del City’s first-ever McDonald’s All American, and the first boy in the state to receive the honor since Tulsa Booker T. Washington’s Bryce Thompson in 2020. Thompson also plays for Oklahoma State.

The McDonald’s All American game is scheduled for March 28 in Houston. The game will feature 24 of the top high school seniors from across the country. Garrison was named to the West roster.
