Carl Albert swimmers earn all-state honors

Three Carl Albert swimmers have been named to the Oklahoma Coaches Association All-State Team.
Seniors Kaleb Vaughn, Abbey Snooks and Shelbie Price were selected for the OCA All-State West squad after leading their teams to a state runner-up finish in Class 5A.
Vaughn won state titles in the individual 100-yard butterfly and 200 freestyle relay. He placed second in the 100 backstroke and 200 medley relay.
Snooks had four top five finishes at state. She took fourth place in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 100 backstroke. Snooks also helped the Lady Titans earn second in the 200 freestyle relay and fifth in the 400 freestyle relay.
Price was a state finalist in the 50 freestyle. She also swam on the state runner-up 200 freestyle relay team, and helped her team take fifth in the 200 medley relay.
The all-state meet is set for July 24 at Edmond Schools Aquatic Center at Mitch Park.
