Tabitha McCray moves from the Bombers to the Titans taking over Hayden Robbins coaching position for the volleyball team.

“I knew coach Hayden had really set that program up for success and after talking to her and Coach [Mike] Dunn I knew it was the best move for my coaching career as well as my family,” said McCray. “It was a program I wanted to be a part of.”

McCray has coached off and on since 2012 and has coached the past two years at Midwest City High School.

The goal for this season is to take state, McCray says.

“Second place is not good enough. These girls have the talent and commitment to do great things and their work ethic is incredible. They have the drive to be champions,” said Coach McCray.

Taking into stride the new environment, McCray and the Lady Titans prepare for a strong season by open gyms, workouts, two-a-days, and team camp in July, according to McCray.

“This new journey with new girls and a new program has already been such a blessing. The energy these girls and leadership bring to this program is a force,” said McCray. “I have been welcomed with open arms and everyone has one thing on their mind; take state.”
