Tip a Cop raises money for Special Olympics

Midwest City police raised money for the Special Olympics of Oklahoma with a “Tip a Cop” event June 4 at Jimmy’s Egg.
This statewide fundraiser brought law enforcement from various agencies together in the metro for breakfast and lunch to collect donations.
“Many came in to show support and love to both Special Olympics and to the officers at the event,” said Midwest City Police Sgt. Lindsay Cargal.
Cargal, Sgt. Samantha Wilson and Lt. Laura Henry from the Midwest City Police Department participated and helped to raise $125.
“Tip-A-Cop” fundraising events happen throughout the year and the next one is scheduled for July 27 at Texas Roadhouse.
