A Midwest City man was arrested last week on child pornography charges.

Eric David Feurerborn, 50, faces complaints of child sexual exploitation and violating the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.

According to a press release, OSBI received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in February about possible possession and distribution of child pornography. Agents with the OSBI’s Internet Crimes Against Children unit were able to track down Feurerborn, using search warrants for his internet provider and IP address.

On June 21, OSBI and the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at Feurerborn’s home in the 900 block of Stansell Dr.

According to a probable cause affidavit, Feurerborn admitted to viewing and downloading child pornography on his computer at home. Officers showed him a redacted photo that was included in the online tip. Feurerborn allegedly acknowledged that he possessed or viewed the photograph. He told police he’d been looking at child pornography for about the past 11 years, according to the affidavit.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers seized Feurerborn’s cell phone and computer.

Feurerborn was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail. He is being held on $105,000 bail.
