The Del City Library received a new assistant manager who has worked for the library many times before. Megan Autaubo began working at the Del City library in 2016, her first position at a library.

“I started working at the Del City Library in 2016 as a part-time Access Specialist,” said Autaubo. “It was during this time that I fell in love with working at the library.”

The same year that she began working at the library, Autaubo graduated from Rose State College with her associates in general studies. She then graduated from the University of Central Oklahoma with her bachelors in organizational leadership in 2019.

“Before I worked at the library, I didn’t realize the wealth of services that are offered at the library. It was at this time I realized community service is my calling,” said Autaubo.

Autaubo parted from the Del City library for a position at the Almonte Library and she returned in 2019 to become an adult engagement specialist. She left the library again and returned this year under the assistant manager position.

“Returning to Del City has truly felt like coming home, and I can assure the community I will be here for quite a while,” said Autaubo. “I consider myself blessed to have the opportunity to help the community every day and to work for an organization that is a tireless champion for the people of Oklahoma County.”
