Mid-Del helping families prepare for school year with Summer Sunrise July 15

Mid-Del Schools are hosting a Summer Sunrise event where you can meet the Mid-Del Staff and get connected to resources for the upcoming school year.

Summer Sunrise will take place for the first time July 15 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mid-Del Learning Services Center located at 4731 Judy Dr. in Del City. The school district intends to hold this event annually.

“Summer Sunrise is an opportunity for students and families to meet the Mid-Del staff, get resources to help transition to a new school/district, and get enrollment help if you still need to complete new student enrollment,” said Heather Graham, Director of Student Services, and Meagan Bryant, Director of School Counseling and Mental Health.

There will be resources available such as enrollment services, counseling and mental health resources, child nutrition, Rose State College: concurrent enrollment and ticket to Rose information and much more. 

“If you are new to Mid-Del or a returning student, please join us for a come-and-go event to receive support for enrollment and additional services to support you and your child to successfully start your 2023-2024 school year at Mid-Del Public Schools,” said Graham and Bryant.
