Tuttle’s Rooker-Wallace American Legion Post 176 will soon celebrate Veterans Day, Saturday, November 11.
The Legion’s congregation will be putting flags out at the cemetery 9 a.m. Saturday, November 4.
With most of its membership being older folks, volunteers are quite welcome.
The Legion will also be meeting up the evening of Veterans Day at 5 p.m. at Tuttle Christian Church to pack shoe boxes for Samaritan’s Purse, a charity that sends Christmas gifts to those less fortunate.
The Legion will also host its annual Christmas party on December 2, and all veterans are encouraged to attend.
Regular meetings are held every other Thursday at 6:30 p.m., with the next one scheduled for Thursday, November 2.
