Carl Albert, Del City earn Suburban Conference awards

Carl Albert and Del City had several players honored in the Suburban Conference volleyball awards.

The awards were announced last week.

Carl Albert’s Caitlyn Mabie (libero) and Kailey Stuart (outside hitter) were named to the First Team All-Conference.

Eden Schroeder (outside hitter) and Rylee Reese (outside hitter) were selected to the Second Team, and Kristin Stoeser (utility) was honorable mention.

Del City also had a couple of First Team selections in Shelby Thornton (middle blocker) and Annette Cox (setter). Anayah Casby (libero) and Paris Brazile (outside hitter) were named to the Second Team. Ayah Hammoud (defensive specialist) and Jasmyne Thorne (middle blocker) received honorable mention.

Other members of the First Team included: Elgin – Sadie Garnett (libero); El Reno – Jewell Graham (middle blocker), Qyra Jones; Noble – Maicee Berry (outside hitter), Bree Washburn (libero); Shawnee – Harlee Bullard, Mikah Teape (middle blocker).
