Tuttle’s Jolee Daile Jagers was named Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen at the Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Pageant in Woodward in June 2023.
Jagers will be celebrated with a coronation Saturday, February 17 at Coal Creek Vineyard, located at 210 North Sara Road in Tuttle, at 6 p.m.
The event will feature a live auction, silent auction, dinner, and games. Ticket prices will be $25 for adults, and $15 for children 12 and under.
During the pageant, contestants were evaluated in knowledge/presentation, personality, horsemanship and appearance.
Jagers is an official Tuttle Roundup Club Ambassador, a member of the Canadian Valley Rangerettes drill team, and is currently a full-time student at Oral Roberts University. Jagers is also a full-time Clinical Research Coordinator II.
“She’s been rodeo queening since she was eight,” her mother Andee Daile said Tuesday. “Most of it has been with the Tuttle Round Up Club. She won the title for 2024 Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen. It’s speech and horsemanship and appearance, and they even take a written test. Her platform is military mental health.”
Five percent of the proceeds from Jagers’s coronation are going to the Tuttle American Legion. The rest of the money raised will help Jagers travel to different places in Oklahoma, Florida, and Nevada as she represents Tuttle and the organizations she is a part of.
Jagers’s favorite quote is from Dolly Parton, “If you see someone without a smile, give ’em yours!”
