Three Mid-Del wrestlers earned all-state honors.

Carl Albert’s Kasen Miller and Del City’s Deontre Buttram and Liam Daniels were selected to the Oklahoma Coaches Association Large West All-State Team.

Buttram and Daniels were both individual state champions for the Eagles.

Buttram pinned Lawton MacArthur’s Braden Brown in the third period to win the 175-pound title in Class 5A. In the next match, Daniels earned an 8-0 major decision against Elgin’s Colyn Donnelly in the 190 finals.

Miller was a state runner-up at 138 pounds. The senior was a four-time state placer and three-time finalist for the Titans. He helped the team win the Class 5A state championship last season and qualify for dual state twice.

The Titans had two all-state wrestlers last year with Isaiah Matanane and Alex Sutterfield.

The OCA All-State wrestling dual is scheduled for July 24 with the location to be determined.

The Large OCA all-state teams include: East: Cavin Peper (Sapulpa), Christopher Kiser (Ponca City), Gage Walker (Bixby), Canon Acklin (Collinsville), JJ McComas (Stillwater), Jace Roller (Bixby), Hudson Henslick (Collinsville), Landyn Sommer (Stillwater), Zander Grigsby (Sand Springs), Trent Cole (Glenpool), Cameron Braswell (Claremore), Cord Coffee (Ada), Mason Harris (Sand Springs).
West: Ellijah Ortiz (Altus), Cash Donnell (Piedmont), Beric Jordan (Noble), Javin Douglas (Mustang), Kasen Miller (Carl Albert), Layton Schneider (Edmond North), Kooper Kelly (Duncan), Evan Johnson (Norman North), Jack Anglley (Elgin), Deontre Buttram (Del City), Liam Daniels (Del City), Talon McCollom (Edmond North), Brogan Hardy (Piedmont).
