Through the Simple Modern Stock Your School Campaign, the Oklahoma-owned company cleared 10 teachers’ Amazon Wish Lists and gave more than a quarter of a million dollars in drinkware to students in seven states.
Simple Modern, an Oklahoma-owned and leading drinkware and consumer goods company, celebrated one of its Stock Your School giveaway winners, Courtney Campbell, a Soldier Creek Elementary second grade teacher, at a schoolwide assembly on Friday.
Simple Modern Chief Marketing Officer Chris Hoyle announced Campbell as a winner and presented all 1,600 new water bottles and tumblers to the entire school, with the Oklahoma City Thunder Drumline and Rumble to assist in the presentation.
“We were so excited to celebrate Courtney and all the students at Soldier Creek Elementary,” Hoyle said. “Simple Modern exists to give generously, and education is one of the areas where we focus our giving. It was a joy to give the entire school new water bottles, and having the Thunder Drumline and Rumble with us to celebrate made the event so much more exciting.”
Through its Stock Your School campaign, Simple Modern cleared the Amazon wish list of 10 teachers, who won the popular vote during a 10-day voting campaign in late July. The teachers also won 1,500 Summit water bottles for every student at their school and 100 Trek tumblers for every teacher and staff member at their school too.
The Stock Your School Giveaway featured more than 2,200 teachers from 49 states and more than 130,000 votes were cast for the teachers. The top 10 teachers came from seven states, with three coming from Simple Modern’s home state of Oklahoma.
The entire campaign donated 16,000 water bottles, representing well more than a quarter million dollar donation to those 10 schools. Each school alone received about $35,000 in water bottles.
Simple Modern exists to give generously. As a leading drinkware and consumer goods company, Simple Modern gives at least 10% of annual profits to communities around the world, equaling millions in donations since the company’s founding in 2015.
The Oklahoma-owned company offers premium quality products and unique styles for adults and kids at generous prices. Mission-driven and values-based, Simple Modern has grown into a category leader for retail partners Amazon, Target, Sam’s Club and Walmart, serving customers in all 50 states and eight countries around the world.
