Dr. Connor Partin brings personalized physical therapy back to Mustang

Dr. Connor Partin grew up in Mustang, watching his father serve the community as a trusted eye doctor for nearly four decades. Today, he’s carrying that legacy forward, not with an eye chart, but through performance-based physical therapy aimed at helping people he al, move, and feel better.
Partin opened Partin Physical Therapy just two weeks ago, and though the clinic is brand new, the heart behind it runs deep.“I saw my dad practice eyeballs for my whole life,” Partin said with a laugh. “For 27 years of my life, I watched how much joy he got from his job and the impact he made. That really stuck with me.”
The new clinic sits inside the same building where his father worked, and where his brother and sister-in-law now run the family eye care business. For the Partins, working under the same roof is more than a coincidence, it’s the realization of a long-held family dream.
“It was something we always talked about, getting to work together,” he said. “Now it’s actually happening.”
Connor Partin didn’t always plan on physical therapy, but a single soccer injury changed everything. As a Bronco soccer player in high school, he suffered a crushed knuckle during a match. Doctors told him he’d likely never regain full use of the hand.
“They said it probably wouldn’t be a full recovery,” he recalled. “But it was, and that process changed everything for me.”Partin said he fell in love with the physical therapy model, not just the science, but the emotional turnaround that patients often experience.
“People come in dejected, unsure if they’ll ever feel like themselves again,” he said. “Being able to help them come back, that’s what hooked me.”
After graduating from Mustang High School in 2015, Partin earned a bachelor’s in Kinesiology from the University of Central Oklahoma, then completed his doctorate in physical therapy at Oklahoma City University. His career has taken him from Florida to Kentucky, including his most recent work with the University of Louisville Athletic Department, where he supported the baseball, lacrosse, swim, dive, and track and field programs.
While Dr. Partin‘s clinic is new, he has already seen thousands of patients.
Now, he’s back in Mustang, bringing top-tier experience to the place that raised him.
At Partin Physical Therapy, every appointment is one-on-one with Dr. Partin, no handoffs to assistants or techs. Each session is a full hour, and each plan is tailored to the individual.
“I’m with you the whole time,” he said.
According to the clinic website, all patients undergo a comprehensive initial evaluation that includes strength testing, range of motion, posture analysis, and movement screening. From there, plans are built around personal goals and activities, whether that’s returning to sports or being able to lift grandkids without pain.

Built With Family, Backed By Faith
Partin says his decision to return home was driven by faith and family.
“What brought me back? Family and church family,” he said. “It’s good to be home, surrounded by familiar faces and places. Just being back in this community again has been incredible.”
His wife, Morgan Partin, helps manage the clinic, fielding calls and overseeing the clinic’s social media presence. While she isn’t a full-time staffer, she’s often the first point of contact.
“She’s the lovely voice you’ll hear when you call,” he said. “She also makes sure the online presence looks as good as the care feels.”
Morgan, also a Mustang native, helps organize logistics while maintaining a career of her own. Patients who appear in social media posts sign releases ahead of time, and many are eager to share their recovery stories.
“Patients these days love it,” Connor said. “They’re proud of what they’re accomplishing.”
Although the clinic opened just weeks ago, Partin has already begun working with patients from Mustang and surrounding communities, including neighboring school districts. Specifics are protected under HIPAA, but he says the response has been enthusiastic.
“Let’s just say I’m seeing some familiar jerseys,” he said.In addition to full evaluations, the clinic offers 15-minute free discovery calls for prospective patients, and during the month of July, they’re running a $80 discount on initial evaluations.
“We wanted to offer something to help people take that first step,” Partin said. “Sometimes that’s the hardest part.”
The practice is located at 1100 N. Mustang Road, in the same building as Partin Eye Care. He says helping patients understand their injuries, how they happened, how to heal, and how to avoid future issues, is part of the job.
“It’s not just about getting fixed,” he said. “It’s about staying healthy long after you leave.”
Though still in its early days, Partin Physical Therapy is quickly earning praise for its personalized approach and positive environment. That’s by design, Partin says, and it stems from the values he learned watching his father work.
“I don’t want to be just another clinic,” he said. “I want this to feel different. Personal. Like you’re being treated by someone who really cares.”
He believes Mustang is the perfect place to grow that kind of practice.
“This is home,” he said. “And I’m excited to help people here heal, get stronger, and get back to doing what they love.”
