Miss Tuttle to be decided Aug. 13

Tuttle will look for its fairest young ladies to compete in the 2016 Tuttle Fair’s Miss Tuttle pageant Friday and Saturday, August 12 and 13. Girls entering their freshman through senior years of high school, living in or attending Tuttle Public Schools, are eligible to compete for Miss Tuttle Fair.

Kaydn Ann Estes was named Miss Tuttle last year at the culmination of the 2015 Tuttle Fair. The announcement of Estes as the pageant winner. Estes won with a black dress and by performing her talent. She sang “Photograph” by Ed Sheeran while providing her own beat with only a cup.

The events will include a personal interview, on-stage question/modeling and talent. There are other ways to score points by entering items in the fair either by showing livestock or entering things into the open or 4-H categories.

Girls have to enter a cake in the cake auction and ride in the parade, and can get points In addition to the winner and runners-up, awards will be given for Miss Talent, Miss Photogenic and Miss Congeniality.

There are cash scholarships for Miss Tuttle Fair and the runners-up.

Entry forms are available at the Flower Boutique or online at MissTuttleFair.blogspot.com.

Entry forms are due on or before Sunday, July 31. Forms can be dropped off at the Flower Boutique, filled out online or brought to the meeting on July 31.

There is a $50 entry fee to be paid by their sponsor, unless they are being sponsored by a school organization (then the entry fee is waived).
