Teriyaki Madness is coming to Midwest City. The new fast-casual Asian restaurant will open in early August at 5910 SE 15th St. at the Center Marketplace. It is the most recent addition to the shopping center that includes Nash Bird and The Baked Bear.

The quick-stop grill specializes in quality, made-to-order dishes inspired by Asian cuisine. The restaurant offers a selection of fresh teriyaki bowls, potstickers, eggrolls, and house-made sauces.

“We focus on particular items – our menu isn’t ridiculously huge. This lets us perfect the items we do offer,” said Micky Patel, franchise owner. “My favorite dish would be our Spicy Chicken Bowl with the noodles and vegetables.”

Patel also owns a Teriyaki Madness in Oklahoma City and had been looking to expand in the metro.

“We’ve been looking around for a new location for some time now. Midwest City was on the top of the list of potential areas. I liked the area, and Midwest City is becoming a pretty fast-growing town,” said Patel. “My partner also told me his restaurant (Tropical Smoothie Cafe) is doing really well around here.”

Teriyaki Madness opened their first store in Oklahoma City in 2017 with a new location planned near Yukon and Mustang.

Daysha Curcis has been an employee at the Oklahoma City location since March.

“As an employee, my goal is to give the best customer service I can provide. I plan on working here for a long time,” said Curcis. “My favorite item on the menu would also have to be the Spicy Chicken bowl.”
