Casey’s is building two new locations in Midwest City.

The Iowa-based company plans to open a new gas station and convenience store at 10012 E. Reno Ave. and 7001 SE 29th St.

The location near SE 29th St. and Air Depot Blvd. will have a new convenience store building. The store was temporarily closed for remodeling, but the company has since demolished the old building that was formerly a Circle K.

The other new store will be located near the intersection of E. Reno Ave. and S. Post Rd. Casey’s purchased the vacant property in July and began dirt work last week. The property was rezoned by the city council to allow for the gas station and convenience store.

Both stores are tentatively scheduled to open in Spring 2023.

“We are currently completing due diligence to begin operations of these two new stores in the Midwest City community – this includes obtaining a variety of permits enabling us to provide the

Casey’s offerings our guests know and love like our handmade pizza and quality fuel,” said Kendrew Panyanouvong, Casey’s spokesperson.

Casey’s stores serve customers 24/7 and offer a variety of drinks, prepared foods, pizza, snacks, packaged wine and beer and other grocery items.

Last year, Casey’s purchased 49 Circle K stores in Oklahoma, including three in Midwest City. The stores have since been rebranded as Casey’s. The store at 9001 SE 29th St. was remodeled and expanded earlier this year to accommodate a pizza kitchen. The Reno Ave. store will be the first newly constructed Casey’s in Midwest City.
