The 2023 Miss Minco Pageant will be held Saturday, August 5 at 6 p.m. at Minco High School’s Auditorium.
After a long hiatus, Miss Minco was brought back last year, and is back this year with an added category. The Miss Minco Committee has announced a pageant each for four different age groups.
Miss Minco is for high school age girls.

Miss Minco Tegan Burchfield

Junior Miss Minco will be for girls in sixth through eighth grade.
Little Miss Minco will be for girls in grades second through fifth.
The new category will be Mini Miss Minco, which will be for Pre-K through first grade students.
Pageant Coordinator Erica Gibson shared some information about the event, and said, “We have 17 signed up. Mini Miss is new. They wanted an age group for everything, for all the kids, so we came up with something for an age group for  Pre-K through 12th grade now. Last year, Little Miss was 4 and 5 year olds, about Pre-K to kindergarten. We switched it so that we could have an age group for everybody. We are just excited to keep the tradition going. We brought it back again last year after we hadn’t had it for several years and we’re excited to keep it going. We look forward to doing it for many, many years to come.”
Miss Minco pageant contestants are encouraged to attend a few events to help prepare them for the pageants. A modeling boot camp will be held July 17 at 6:30 p.m. An interview boot camp will be held July 24 at 6:30 p.m. And a rehearsal will be held August 4 at 6:30 p.m.
