Mustang Athletics Spectator Guidelines/Expectation

Mustang Public Schools issued the following statement regarding the athletics guidelines and expectations for the home football games this season. It reads as follows:

“Bronco Family,

We are excited for our first home high school football game of the 2023-24 school year on Friday (gates open at 5:30 p.m.).  We love gathering together for Bronco football to cheer for our home team, and we want our games to be a safe and enjoyable environment for our students and our community.  As such, we would like to share several guidelines for home football games; please pay special attention to the bold, which are new for this school year:

  • There will be no re-entry once a spectator has exited the facility;

  • The following items are prohibited (including, but not limited to):

    • Outside food/beverages;

    • Backpacks;

    • Balls or other sporting equipment of any kind;

    • External sound systems, speakers, etc.

    • Ice chests, coolers, containers, etc.

    • Pets (with the exception of service animals in accordance with Board policy);

    • Laser pointers;

    • Objects which could lead to stoppage of play;

    • Tobacco;

    • Alcohol;

    • Drugs of any type;

    • Weapons of any kind.

  • Loitering will not be tolerated: Students/children are to sit in the stands and shall not congregate under the stands or in other areas of the sporting complex;

  • Unruly behavior will not be tolerated;

  • MPS students without student IDs (Prek-8th grade for 2023-24) must be accompanied by an adult; high school students will be required to show/provide their student ID with their ticket;

  • Students will be restricted to their (home or visitor) side of the stadium.

  • Failure to meet these expectations will result in removal from the event.
