Lady Titans top PC West on senior night

Carl Albert’s volleyball team celebrated senior night last Thursday with a 3-0 win over Putnam City West. The Lady Titans topped West 25-15, 25-15, 25-16.
The senior players were introduced with their families before the match. The seniors included Kamry Cox, Kamryn Flynt, Helen Hammond, Rylee Reese and Leighanne Reimer.
Coach Tabitha McCray said all of the seniors contributed in the win.
“All my seniors played all three games and were so fun to watch,” McCray said. “They played different positions and really stepped up to end their home games this season.”
Flynt set a career high with 12 kills against West. Cox had nine kills and Kailey Stuart finished with eight aces.
Carl Albert is scheduled to play at Shawnee on Thursday. The regional tournament is next week.
