Midwest City volleyball earns conference awards

Midwest City’s volleyball team was recognized in the Big 7 Conference Awards that were announced recently.

Trinnati Allen was named the Offensive Player of the Year and a First-Team selection. Amariyah Morris earned the Newcomer of the Year award.

Matti Dix was named the Coach of the Year in her first season with the Lady Bombers. Midwest City reached the regional finals for the first time in nearly a decade.

Hana Elam and Laila Stewart were selected to the second team, and Tori Sanchez and Ja’Kaylah Jackson were honorable mention.
