Locally owned & operated, JBEE Farms will deliver fresh, fast, quality produce & more

JBEE Farms is a grocery delivery service available in Mustang, owned and operated by third-generation farmer Jose Quiroz.

Quiroz says on his website, “With over 50 years of farming experience, passed down from my grandfather and father, we ensure that every imported product meets our high standards of quality. We take pride in offering you a curated selection of the best Mexican produce available, ensuring that our offerings are always fresh and of exceptional quality.”

Quiroz is familiar with operating community grocery stores, and with JBEE Farms, customers can shop from the comfort of their living room.

JBEE Farms had some production last year, but just enough for family and friends.

This year, Jose is putting the word out a couple weeks before planting fruits and vegetables to gauge how much he will need to produce and/or order from other sources.

Potential customers are encouraged to go online to to create an account if interested in this locally-owned and operated grocery delivery service, so that Quiroz and company have the opportunity to see how many different fruits and vegetables they will have to produce in the next couple of months.

JBEE will be looking to further buildout its catalogue, but what it will certainly have this season is bell peppers, sugar snap peas, mini broccoli, round Parisian market carrots, red long of Tropea onions, fairytale mini eggplants, Patterson onions, white onions, sweet corn, radishes, and lettuce/salad mixes.

More of the standout products JBEE will certainly have this spring and summer are hibiscus tea and freshly-squeezed orange juice.

“When we had the grocery store, I added the juice machine, but I couldn’t sell to other stores, because you had to have a facility to manufacture, and now we have it.”

The items shown on the website are not yet available, but many will be soon when Quiroz and JBEE finish updating it closer to the end of April.

“Right now, we don’t have any production,” Quiroz said. “That was from last year. We didn’t really market it or anything. We just kind of played around with it. We’ve still got to modify that website, which I think it should be done this week. I have a guy working on it.

“At first, we are going to have produce from third parties until we get our stuff growing and get stabilized.”

JBEE is still awaiting some final inspections from the health department, but expect to be fully up and running by the end of May.

“We’re hoping by the end of May,” Quiroz said, “we should have production going at least for juice and tea, and then we’ll have some produce from other suppliers until we get our stuff growing. We’ve got some land in Watonga, where we’re going to be growing some blueberries and different kinds of crops, but that’s going to take some time to get production going.”

JBEE also wants to be able to sell to other grocery stores with their wholesale department.

“We’re trying to work the details out to get more vendors and stuff to the wholesale room,” he said. “We are going to start growing our stuff. I think, by next year, we should be at least 40 to 60 percent of our production, and then go from there, but right now, we don’t have anything on the ground here.” has many different blogs about the different aspects of their business, including this one about their hibiscus tea:
