McDonalds location on Morgan Road making progress

Just north of the Casey’s Gas Station at the corner of Morgan Road and SW 29th Street, another
McDonalds location is nearing completion.

Permit information accessible on the Oklahoma City website indicated the owner of the
property of interest is Hub on Morgan LLC.

The McDonalds, located at 2812 S Morgan Rd, will include a drive-thru. The building is
anticipated to be 18 feet high, and boast a square footage of 3,702 barring changes not
documented on the city website. The structure is already built and could be opening soon, even
though the Mustang Times could not reach the developer for the specific opening date.

McDonalds also recently opened a location at 11316 SW 29th St. near Mustang Road.

The structure on Morgan Road had an estimated cost of $750,000 on the original application
for the building. Additional work on a monument sign for the restaurant was filed with the City
of Oklahoma City separately, with the permit applicant being Welco Electric Service Co.

Morgan and SW 29th is anticipated to be a busy intersection once school starts back up. The
location, along with the Casey’s Gas Station, sit across the intersection from Mustang Valley
Elementary School. Currently, road construction is taking place around the intersection
between Morgan and Wimberley Dr., too.

Hub on Morgan LLC, and the applicant who filed for the permit for the restaurant with
Oklahoma City, could not be reached for comment ahead of press deadlines.
