Mid-Del Schools celebrating homecoming this month
Carl Albert’s homecoming set for Friday, Oct. 4

Mid-Del Schools will celebrate homecoming this month.
Each of the three district high schools will host a homecoming parade, coronation and football game.
Carl Albert’s homecoming is Friday, Oct. 4, followed by Del City on Friday, Oct.11 and Midwest City on Thursday, Oct. 17.
Carl Albert High School (Oct. 4)
Theme: Titan Games
Parade: Starts at 1 p.m. The parade begins at Eastside Church of Christ and heads south Douglas Blvd. It turns east on SE 15th St. (in front of Soldier Creek Elementary) and towards Post Rd. It will then proceed for one mile and turn south on Post Rd. traveling in front of Carl Albert High School towards Carl Albert Middle School. It will pass through the Carl Albert Middle School parking lot, looping back on to Post Rd. and ending at CAHS.
Coronation: 6:15 p.m. at Gary Rose Stadium.
Football Game: 7 p.m. vs. El Reno
Del City High School (Oct. 11)
Theme: A Pixar Homecoming
Parade: Starts at 1:45 p.m. The parade starts behind the football field, then heads south on Epperly Dr. past Del City Elementary School. It then heads west on SE 27th St. and south onto Epperly Dr. to SE 29th St. The parade will proceed west on SE 29th St. and north on Sunnylane Rd. and end at the high school.
Coronation: 6:30 p.m. at Robert Kalsu Stadium
Football Game: 7 p.m. vs. Tulsa Hale
Midwest City High School (Oct. 17)
Theme: Bomber Rodeo
Parade: Begins at 1:30 p.m. The parade starts at the MCHS tennis courts and moves east onto Elm St. It will then turn north onto Felix Pl. in front of Country Estates Elementary and will turn east onto Steed Dr. It will turn south onto Midwest Blvd. until it reaches SE 15th St. where it will turn west. The parade will proceed in front of the Mid-Del Administration building and turn north back into the MCHS parking lot and end at the tennis courts.
Coronation: 6 p.m. at Rose Field
Football Game: 7 p.m. vs. Lawton MacArthur
