Police release name of man killed in wreck on Westminster Rd.

The Midwest City Police Department has released the name of a man killed in head-on crash Monday evening.
Jeffrey Alan Knapp, 63, died when the van he was driving collided head-on with a pickup in the 1700 block of S. Westminster Rd., just south of SE 15th St. about 6:30 p.m.
According to police, Knapp was southbound on Westminster when he crossed the center line and collided with the pickup. Knapp was extricated by firefighters and transported to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the pickup was treated and released at the scene.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
