Public meeting set for SH-37/Main Street improvements in Tuttle

TUTTLE — The Oklahoma Department of Transportation will host an open house later this month to present proposed improvements to SH-37, also known as Main Street, in Tuttle.

The project is aimed at improving safety and accommodating current and future traffic volumes along the corridor. Proposed work includes widening and resurfacing the roadway, adding and upgrading sidewalks, and constructing a center median and improved drainage structures.

ODOT representatives will have project plans available at the meeting, and engineers will be on hand to answer questions from the public.

The open house is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in the Council Chambers at Tuttle City Hall, 221 W. Main St.

Additional information about the project is available at www.odot.org/PublicMeetings.
