Bluepeak continues fiber roll out in Midwest City
Fiber internet provider Bluepeak says its network expansion in Midwest City is continuing to progress steadily, with service now available to about 5,000 homes and businesses in central parts of the city.
The company said installation work is ongoing as crews extend infrastructure into additional neighborhoods.
“Our expansion in Midwest City is moving forward smoothly, and we’ve been encouraged by the response from residents and local businesses,” said Mike Harry, Bluepeak’s chief business development officer. “There’s been strong demand for faster, more reliable internet, and we’re excited to bring more homes and businesses online every day.”
Bluepeak reported strong early interest from both residential and business customers and described community response as overwhelmingly positive since service became available.
“With households streaming, working and gaming on multiple devices at the same time, the demand for that kind of speed is real — and our customers are recognizing it,” a company spokesperson said.
Bluepeak said its Midwest City build-out is part of a broader statewide expansion that includes additional Oklahoma communities. The company recently added Alva to its service area as part of its ongoing fiber network growth.
Bluepeak said its network delivers speeds of up to 5 gigabits per second for residential customers and up to 10 gigabits per second for businesses. The company also said it offers what it describes as the fastest internet speeds in Oklahoma, based on Ookla Speedtest Intelligence median download data for the second half of 2025.
The company said those speeds support streaming, gaming, remote work, online learning and telehealth, while also providing businesses with higher bandwidth for cloud applications and operations.
Bluepeak also offers television service options, including a traditional channel lineup featuring major broadcast networks such as ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, as well as Bluepeak Stream, an app-based platform that combines live TV, on-demand content and streaming apps.
Beyond broadband service, Bluepeak highlighted its involvement in community programs across Oklahoma, including youth initiatives, scholarships and local events.
The company cited its support for the Lincoln Elementary Habit House leadership program in Pryor Creek and its participation in the National Western Stock Show and Scholarship Trust through livestock purchases benefiting agricultural scholarships.
Across the state, Bluepeak said it partners with schools, chambers of commerce and civic organizations, including sponsorship of OSU Posse Rally and Main Street events in Altus, participation in the YMCA Turkey Trot and Night of Scholars in Bartlesville, and engagement with Fort Sill and local high school sports in Lawton.
