Midwest City residents invited to Picnic with Protectors Thursday, Sept. 17

The Midwest City Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Picnic with Protectors on Thursday, Sept. 17 at the Rotary Pavilion at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park, 8700 E. Reno Ave.

The event runs from 4:30 – 6 p.m. and is open to the public. It is an opportunity to recognize and meet the community’s first responders and service personnel.

Agencies that plan to attend include: Midwest City Police, Fire and Public Works departments, Midwest City EMS, Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office, Tinker 72nd Security Forces, Navy Security Forces and Tinker AFB Fire Department.

Hamburgers, hot dogs and refreshments will be served. Guests can also participate in interactive law enforcement, fire and EMS displays.
