My Gas Club, 10021 SE 15th St., is hosting its annual Spring Car Show on Saturday, April 10.
The show will feature more than 150 cars competing in a variety of classes. Prizes will be given to first and second place winners.
The event also includes raffles, silent auction, bouncy house for children, food trucks and more. Oklahoma’s own DJ Navi will be providing entertainment.
“This is a super fun family event with cars, a slew of raffles, snow cones and popcorn,” said Roy Mills of My Gas Club. “And it helps raise money for the local schools.”
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Midwest City, Carl Albert and Choctaw high schools. The money will support the Carl Albert swim team, Midwest City Junior Rotarians, and Choctaw band and wrestling team.
My Gas Club hosted its first car show in August 2019. Mills said they planned to hold another show last spring but it was canceled due to COVID-19.
“I’ve had so many people ask about when we’re doing another one,” he said.
Registration for the car show is from 9 a.m. – 1 0 a.m. The show runs from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. with the awards presentation at 2 p.m.
Car show registration is $30 for the first 100 entrees and includes a t-shirt. It’s $15 for each additional class.
Festivities will take place in the parking lots of My Gas Club and Mini Max grocery store, near the intersection of SE 15th St. and Post Rd.
The show is presented by My Gas Club and Phantom Illusion Car Club. The Midwest City Masonic Lodge 532 is co-hosting and sponsoring the event.
If the weather is bad, the event will be moved to April 17.
