John Conrad Regional Golf Course is set to reopen after 1 1/2 year-long renovation

John Conrad Golf Course is slated to reopen next week following an extensive renovation project that kept the course closed for more than a year.
The Midwest City course will reopen to the public on Saturday, July 9. A grand opening celebration is slated for July 22.
Tee times can be made up to one week in advance, beginning on July 5.
Midwest City renovated the 18-hole course as part of the 2018 general obligation bond package. The project included replacing the playing surfaces from the tee boxes to the greens, upgrading the irrigation system, and adding new equipment for mowing and spraying.
These are the first major improvements to the course since it opened in 1971.
The course has been closed since March 2021.
