Carl Albert’s boys soccer team took a couple of hard losses last week on the road.
The Titans fell to Piedmont 3-1 on April 11 and lost 4-1 at Southeast on Thursday night.
Louis Tartaglione scored the team’s goal against Piedmont and Fabian Romero had the lone score against Southeast, the Class 5A state runner-up last year.
The losses dropped the Titans (6-4, 2-3) to sixth place in District 5A-2 but they still have a shot to move up and qualify for the postseason. They can clinch a playoff spot if they win their final two games.
Carl Albert faced Midwest City (1-8, 0-5) on Tuesday night and will host El Reno (3-8, 1-5) on Thursday.
