Tribute to Liberty set for July 4

A fun filled night with live entertainment, Midwest City is hosting their annual Tribute to Liberty celebration to recognize the national holiday on July 4.
Featuring family-friendly fun, food trucks, live music and fireworks, the celebration will be held at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park located at 8700 E Reno Ave.
Music begins at 7 p.m. and will go until the fireworks which are set to go off at about 9:45 p.m.
Kicking the night off will be the Andrews Sisters from Character Connection Co. This group performs American classics, the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July.
Following the Andrews Sisters will be The Wise Guys. This acapella group will rock the stage with songs by artists like The Rollings Stones, The Eagles, Tom Petty and more.
It is recommended to bring lawn chairs, sunscreen, bug spray and plenty of water. Public parking will be available at
Happy Tails Dog Park/Joe B. Barnes pavilion, Reno Swim & Slide with accessible parking reserved at Doug Hunt Softball Complex on Reno Ave.
