Things were getting a little tight for the Carl Albert softball team last week against Noble.

The Lady Titans scored three runs in the first inning but led by just one midway through the game.

Merrick Collier helped them breathe a little easier. The sophomore belted a three-run homer in the seventh inning to give Carl Albert a 6-2 win on the road.

Carl Albert took control early with a three-run first. Ausha Moore hit an RBI single, and Arianna Harmon drove in two with a sacrifice fly for a 3-0 lead.

Noble answered with a run in the bottom of the inning. They scored again in the third, making it a 3-2 game.

Moore and Kayla Davis each scored two runs.

Madison Ethridge threw a complete game for the win. She allowed one earned run on four hits with one walk and two strikeouts.

Carl Albert hosted Noble Monday for senior night. They were scheduled to play at first-place Piedmont on Tuesday and host El Reno Wednesday in the final district games of the year.
