The Midwest City girls didn’t lose a game at home or against Class 5A competition in the regular season.

And that didn’t change last week in the start of the postseason.

The Lady Bombers dominated their 5A West Regional tournament. They beat Western Heights and Noble by a combined score of 160-54.

Midwest City opened the regional tournament with a 90-20 win over Western Heights. De’Yanna Douglas had a double double with 31 points and 12 rebounds, and Sierra Martin scored 18 points.
Western Heights was held to single digit scoring each quarter.

Midwest City led 52-9 at halftime.

The Lady Bombers were nearly as dominant against Noble in the regional championship as they won 70-34.

Douglas posted another double double with 25 points and 16 rebounds. Saniyah Gaddis and Saliyah Landon had nine points apiece.

Midwest City led Noble 32-21 at halftime.

The Lady Bombers will face a familiar foe Thursday as they take on Carl Albert in the Area championship. The game is set for 6 p.m. at Piedmont High School. The loser will play in the area consolation championship Saturday against Altus/Guymon.
