OKLAHOMA CITY – Midwest City had a pair of wrestlers compete at the state tournament last week.

Juniors Aidan Brown and Megan Aaron represented the Bombers at Jim Norrick Arena.

Brown lost in the first round to Kade Edmonds of Pryor in a 7-3 decision.

In the 6A girls tournament, Aaron won by fall in her first-round match, pinning Newcastle’s Addison Schuringa in the first period. She then lost her next two matches by fall.

Both Brown and Aaron were first time state qualifiers.
