Locals gathered in Choctaw Creek Park May 25 for the fourth Choctaw Soapbox Race.
Local youngsters competed with their homemade soapbox racers in a lighthearted family friendly event inspired by the Red Bull Soapbox Race.
Sponsored by the Choctaw Kiwanis Club, the event was organized and hosted by the Choctaw Park and Recreation Advisory Board Chairman Jim Buys.
Elliot, as Stitch on a Hawaiian Rollercoaster, claimed first place.
The team of Olive and Ruby, as Chip and Dale, took second place.
Archer, in the Bluemobile, took third place.
The event was once again sponsored by the Choctaw Kiwanis Club.
Harrington’s Tire Center provided the tires which were used as obstacles and berries.
More information about the event can be found of Facebook @Choctawsoapboxraces.
