Carl Albert’s volleyball team continues to roll.
The Lady Titans (9-6) picked up a pair of big wins over rival Choctaw and El Reno last week.
On Aug. 27, they hosted the Lady Yellowjackets (7-10). Carl Albert trailed 2-1 and took the final two sets for the win (25-20, 11-25, 17-25, 25-23, 15-10).
“The key to this game is they never gave up,” said coach Tabitha McCray. “They played like a team the entire time. They leveled up when they needed to and made smart plays. They’re really coming together as a team this season and finding their grit.”
That continued Thursday night as they won at El Reno, 25-21, 25-6, 25-22. It was the team’s fourth straight win.
Chandler Cordray had one set with 19 serves in a row. Eden Schroeder led with 10 kills and Cherish Watson had 9 kills.
Carl Albert is on the road again this week. They travel to Lawton MacArthur on Thursday and will compete in the Noble Tournament on Saturday.
