Titans sweep Choctaw

Carl Albert High School’s soccer teams remained undefeated with a sweep of Choctaw last Tuesday.

The Carl Albert Lady Titans opened the night with a 2-0 win over Choctaw’s girls. Kayden Murphy and Ashlee Davison each scored in the win.

Choctaw’s girls fell to 2-7 on the year, while CA improved to 4-0.

The Lady Titans picked up their first district win Friday night in Guymon. Davison broke through the Guymon defense and scored the winning goal in a 1-0 overtime victory.

Then Choctaw’s boys fell 3-0 to the visiting Titans. Chancy Lester, Fabian Romero and Kalem Gonzalez each scored in the game.
Carl Albert improved to 4-0 on the season.

The Titans ran through Del City, Shawnee, and Eisenhower before toppling the Jackets at their “pink out” home game.

With the loss, the Yellowjackets moved to 1-7 on the season with their lone victory coming in a 2-1 overtime decision with Putnam City North.

The Titans were also victorious Friday night at Guymon. Lester scored in double overtime for a 1-0 win over the Tigers.
