Yellowjackets compete at all-state

With a head coach, pitcher, and outfielder making the Oklahoma Baseball Coaches Association All-State Game, Choctaw High School was well represented in Enid June 2.
Head coach Shane Hawk was named coach of the OBCA Large West All-State Team, while seniors Drake Fittro and Easton Teel join their Yellowjacket leader for one last outing in the 2024 OBCA Large All-State Game at David Allen Memorial Ballpark in Enid.
Hawk brought his entire coaching lineup north to help the All-State Large West compete.
On the day, the Large East would win a 3-1 decision, and the Small East would beat the Small West, 7-4.
Fittro and Teel became Choctaw’s 35th and 36th all-state players.
The CHS duo have committed to remain teammates playing at Cowley College next year.
